Halloween is a huge deal in my house, particularly with a certain pumpkin-headed young man who insists on discussing it year-round. As we’ve just put the first of the Halloween decorations up, I thought I’d share a few holiday-related projects so you can get in the spirit too. (Get it? A little Halloween humor there.)

Halloween Costume Mini-Album
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As you can tell from the dates on the cover, this album is a work-in-progress. Each year, I’ll add a couple of new pages showing off the year’s costumes. For consistency throughout, I’m primarily using papers and stickers from a couple of Reminisce’s Halloween lines: 10.31 and Witch’s Brew. (Sure hope my stash holds out….)
Here are a few sample pages:
This project was published in Simple Scrapbooks’ Mini Albums in an Evening and was mentioned on the Big Picture Scrapbooking blog.
Halloween “Inchies” Card
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Inchies (one-inch-square collages) are a great way to use up leftover embellishments and small scraps of paper. This card uses paper and stickers by Reminisce and embellishments from various other manufacturers. It was published in the September 2008 issue of CardMaker magazine (and featured in the table of contents).

Candy Jars
~~~~~~~~
Although these aren’t specifically Halloween projects, we use them to stash Halloween candy and other treats throughout the year. For the labels, I used papers and stickers from the Boys Gone Wild line by Reminisce.
