This frame is a gift for my father-in-law, who is about to undergo surgery. My husband thought a picture of his grandkids might brighten up the hospital room.

I know it’s not even October yet, but I had some scraps lying around from my “Brrrrrr” layout and I couldn’t resist putting them to use. The patterned paper and stickers are from Reminisce’s Snow Globe collection. I added some linen scraps, a bit of vintage lace, and a couple of embellishments.

I like to use scraps of paper to make cards. It appeals to my thrifty nature, I guess. These cards for my mother and mother-in-law are made from leftover pieces from ScrapMode’s Nature Love and Star-a-Gogo collections. The Alpha Crystals stickers add a sparkly touch.
