I love to collect little nonscrapbook items that might come in handy–used raffle tickets, fortunes, patches and labels from kids’ clothes, and so on. Some of these items prove useful as unique embellishments. Others are just a delight to horde. You could call all this stuff “found items,” but really it’s just fun junk.

I’m a pack rat when it comes to scrapbooking items. I inherited my father’s inability to throw away anything that might be useful…someday. I save everything, from small lengths of ribbon to tiny scraps of paper. I also collect nonscrapbook items that strike my fancy and might eventually find their way onto a page.
